I’ve written lately about ESG and the government’s use of woke corporations to pressure investors to invest on the basis of social justice rather than shareholder return. Today’s installment looks at the other side of the left’s corporate manipulation: the insurance industry. What better way to force communities to adopt all sorts of environmentally-favored projects, or corporations to yield to social-justice risk assessments, than to use the insurance industry to threaten them with coverages and potential liabilities.
